It’s Late is a melancholic short film that hopes to “evoke feelings of wonder and nostalgia among the audience, and we hope that our production can prompt you to reflect on the beauty of your life experiences and the time you have left. It’s Late aims to be a film grounded in reality by displaying the significance of aging while celebrating the beauty of life, no matter how fleeting time may be.”

Made completely by students, this project helped me gain experience in leadership, design, and wardrobe. Working only with our crews’ closets and thrift stores, the process involved a lot of problem-solving and creativity. I focused on the feeling of nostalgia that our rector was reaching for and incorporated some vintage pieces we had access to.

The Cradle

The Cradle is based on the stage play, “The Cradle,” written by Alexander Yong.
“A disturbed individual plagued by self-pity continues to fantasize about murdering his ex-girlfriend. After hatching a plan, his desire for control of the situation is haunted by memories of love, causing his fantasies to develop into unimaginable consequences.”
The Cradle was my first experience doing costumes for a short film! Made completely by students, it was a challenge to juggle the responsibilities of wardrobe and design, and it took a lot of teamwork and creativity to pull it all together.
